StudioStar 2024
What is StudioStar?
StudioStar is an innovative project initiated by Destelheide, Hanenbos and de Hoge Rielen (managed on behalf of the Flemish government by the non-profit organisation Algemene Dienst Jeugdtoerisme ADJ) and the Service national de la jeunesse / SNJ Luxembourg, in collaboration with the Council of Europe's platform for youth centres. It's a platform aimed at empowering young minds, fostering a deep understanding of human rights and encouraging creative expression.
For the second edition of StudioStar, we draw inspiration from Article 2 of the European Convention on Human Rights, which emphasizes the fundamental principle of equality and freedom from discrimination:
Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set out in the Declaration of Human Rights, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Right to equality and freedom from discrimination - Impact of the European Convention on Human Rights (coe.int).
We invite YOU to explore, interpret and express their perspectives on this vital aspect of human rights through various artistic mediums.
