SONAR toolkit

Bring human rights to the surface with SONAR

Do you work with young people in their free time? This toolkit is designed to help you, as a youth worker, make human rights visible and tangible in your youth work practice, alongside them.

Both young people and youth workers are not always aware of their human rights. Rights often only come up when they are not respected or restricted, sometimes when it's already too late. Therefore, as a youth worker, let human rights be more prominent: integrate them into your attitude, practices, and activities.

How?

SONAR gives you a solid push forward! This toolkit brings to light how you are already taking steps for human rights every day. As a youth worker, you contribute in various ways to the realization of young people's human rights. Additionally, SONAR provides you with some background on human rights and offers support through activities to set up with and for young people.

The toolkit consists of:

  • the booklet
  • didactical methods
  • a poster
  • cards that you can use in your activities

You can download the material for free on JINT's website .
